Exclamation Ilani is moving to 6/5, Washington soon to follow

I work as a dealer at the casino Ilani, in Washington, near the Oregon border. They've sent out a memo letting all their dealers know that on the first of February they are going to be changing the tables in ONE PIT, to 6/5. Their plan is to slowly infect all the pits with it.
I know from my bosses that they didn't want to be the first in Washington to move to 6/5. No casino wants to be first, but I guess Ilani decided to take the hit. I imagine that once they've moved over, the rest of the casinos in the area will feel comfortable moving as well.

Unless one of them has a IQ over 25 and keep the 3:2, getting all the serious action.
You are lucky that your bosses have one more neuron than a cow, otherwise they would shit on the floor all day.

You do understand that dealers make less in tips at 6:5, as less winning means less tipping? Find a job elsewhere.

Kinda depends if the other casinos are under the same management or not, i dont know...They will probably wait and see after about 6 months if profits are up or down after the rule change, who knows...Its kinda crazy how casinos can just change the rules of game overnight in secrecy thats usually oblivious to the player..Its a license to steal and should be illegal in my opinion..

I think there needs to be a law "stating" that casinos are prohibited from calling the game Blackjack if they deal 6/5...

I'm surprised it took them this long especially if Mohegan Sun is still involved there.

It would be neat to get my hands on the data showing the profit difference between 6:5 and 3:2 games. I was just in Vegas this weekend and I saw a lot of people asking whether the games were 6:5 or 3:2, so hopefully word is spreading. Education and publicity seem to be the only way to stop the contagion that is 6:5.

I saw a low limit table in a native store where the BJ payoff was 1-1! People were playing it, by God! Casinos will try and usually do, get away with anything.

Saw 1-1! and at first glance I thought one to eleven. But then, difficult to be surprised anymore.

I recall seeing 1:1 at Monte Carlo in Vegas about 10 years ago at their $1. There was a sign that said 1:1 on bets of $5 or less.

I observed a $1 blackjack game, with a $0.25 ante per hand, which makes the 1:1 game look good and the 6/5 great. The table was full with people waiting behind for a seat.

Did the 1-1 blackjack game have a big sign on the table that said "Blackjack new and improved featuring 1-1 payoffs!"
