What's your worst playing error, or least fine moment at the table?

Mine was last year - absentmindedly taking the cut card when offered it when my partner was zone tracking at the same table and had been number crunching with furrowed brow for the whole previous shoe in preparation. We were the only two at the table. I am still recovering from the shame.

I got the left and right sides of a shuffle mixed up and bet heavily into very weak cards.

Well I wasn't sure where to make my first post, but I guess I'll just add my worst playing error to this thread. I was playing blackjack one time when I was far too tired but was up money wise and enjoying myself. Dealer had 6 showing so I doubled what I thought was my 11. I actually had 12 and dealer called out doubling hard 12 and I busted on the double ending up with 22. Fortunately it was a minimum bet and only one other person was nearby and they had no idea how to play blackjack. It took me a couple hands to process what just happened but when I finally did, I immediately got up from the table and went to bed. I'm still bothered by it even though its been a couple years!

A year or so ago, I won quite a bit for only 3 shoes of play. Headed to the cashier, but noticed the craps table. Lost my winnings plus a little extra. Went back to the BJ tables and won quite a bit again. I ended up being up like $50.

Just very recently, STing a shoe, and getting the cut card every time and doing well, bet large, 25 cards into a new shoe, swinging to multiple spots, and took a very heavy beating, only to realize soon thereafter that I did not cut that particular shoe, being distracted on the phone and missed it, major fuc# up that will consume me for sometime. (Large amount of small cards came out).

while back, was too tired with heavy smoke in my face concentrating on other things also at the moment after i jump into the game after backcounting, true count was +2 or 3.. was playing 2 hands of 40.. dealer gets a 6, thought i had an 11 or 10 but it was a 12 hit and bust.. my second hand was a 17, dealer pulls a 10 and a 2 and i lose the 17 also.. the dealer wouldve broke if i hadnt hit my 12, whole table yelled at me LLOOOLL.. felt like the biggest scrub and idiot at the same time.. still hurts

Dealer accidentally flashes a card during deal. It's an 8. I think "Wait, that's the hole card!" Dealer then turns up an 8. I'm like "she's got 16!" so I split tens, and stay on a bunch of stiffs. She then flips over a ten in the hole... wait, the 8 I saw must have been the upcard...I'm an idiot.

it was another 33 vs 7 hand, (more wierd than costly). the dealer accidentally pitched the 1st 3 off the table and i hit instead of split and lost. about a half hour later, i got the same match up and... he accidentally pitched the first 3 off the table again. i played it right this time, won and he remarked that i misplayed it the last time. really wierd.

I did that as well - the dealer flipped over the shoe before offering the cut and I didn't notice. Luckily I realised before placing any bets but I managed to cut quite a rich play-zone out of play (and it was a repeater)...idiot!!

I hit a multiple card 17, thinking it was 16...then did it again last year! It's haunted me ever since!!

hmmm, might as well start with first one.
set out on my first time card counting and first time in casino blackjack play. sat down played a few hands and the dealer puts the collected cards in a funny looking machine. next couple of hands he does the same thing. woopsie, it was a csm. sat down at another table, got right back up, yup another csm. finally find a table dealt from a shoe, made $65 .
