    CVCX V6 S17 vs H17

When you run a simulation using S17 tables for a H17 game, does CVCX default to the H17 strategy? I'm looking to run the sim using the H17 tables, so I selected a Single strategy. Should I alter the tables to the H17 strategy and then run the sim?

I don't understand the first sentence or what the strategy looks like.

Sorry, let me restart. I have a strategy table for the S17 game. Now I wish to run a sim for the H17 game. Do I need to edit the tables to reflect the correct basic strategy for the H17 game or will CVCX automatically default to H17 BS when it runs the sim?

If the strategy does not have both S17 and H17 tables, it will only run the tables that are in the strategy.
If it has both, it will use the one according to teh rule set.
If it has both and you change the affecting option setting, it will purposely use the incorrect strategy. The opposite of the rule.

Thanks, Norm. On a separate note, why is CVData standard sim so much faster than CVCX?

When you run a sim on CVCX playing 2 hands instead of 1, does that increase sim time?

Generally CVCX is faster, But, it depend on all the settings.

Substantially. CVCX with two hands is actually a third simulator that is a cross between the architectures of CVCX and the CVData Multi-Tracking simulator.
