Can't Believe These Crazy Online Swings

Things seem more extreme than at a brick and mortar casino. Here is how the last few months went. Aug was a good month. Won over $8,200, but Sep went the other way. I lost around $4,600. Now Oct started off bad, but after the 10th off the month was extremely good for the rest off the month. After the 10th of Oct I played 36 sessions and only lost 2. The last two-thirds of the month yielded a win of over $6,300. Yeah, it is fun to data mine.

Bottom line is I'm still ahead for the year, but with swings like this anything can happen.

How are you advantage playing with online games? Is this with just harvesting promotions?

Yes, mostly about just playing the promotions and then I cash out.

I think I could do ok playing online but its always at least 1 idiot splitting 10s against anything and in a low count. And they just don't play basic strategy. Maybe not so much on the higher tables but at least on the $15 and lower tables its the other players messing up the game.

Is there some reason this matters on an online game? Since it doesn’t matter in a land based game.

    Online bad players matter

I know they say other bad players dont matter but when you see them all the time saving the dealer it really makes you think otherwise. I see why the baest players would rather play alone.

It may make you think otherwise, but it doesn't make a knowledgeable player think that way.

No you don't. They want to play alone to play as many hands per hour as possible, not because they're afraid that other players will "save" the dealer with their poor play.

    Don

The pros always say it evens out in the long run. You will win just as many hands from other players as you will lose.
