    Online dealer Blackjack

    Dears,
From a newcomer to bj community, question:

Are the bj games with online dealers with shoes, really normal?
I read about barcode, scanners, etc.
But is this online dealer game actually a mimic of a real table in real world?
...or the cards somehow are showed virtually and are not real cards but some smart white paper to show a card as per machine software?

    Thanks.

The cards are real. You can watch them being hand shuffled. They are then put in the shoe and only half of an 8 deck shoe is dealt out. However, the cards are also scanned as the come out of the shoe. Sometimes the dealer is not on his toes and a card gets missed by the scanner. Then, a big delay and the cards are usually backed up and scanned and then dealt out to their proper position.

Sometimes when dealer has a blackjack and is slow in turning over his down card, it pops up on the screen that everyone lost before the dealer turns over the blackjack. The results are already in the scanner.

    Good day, Player, All,

Thanks for description, I am already in these tables for a couple of weeks now, and also follow this forum and BJ practices couple of months.
I wanted to have your view about these tables (legit or not), since having no casino-bj place nearby me, decided to start with them.
Of course knowing the limitation of 8d, 50% shoe penetration.
Also s17, American style, no re-split.

On another note, you players are playing in these online tables, or at least at the beginning with minimum bet?

What is your view for online dealer bj?

I listened to both video parts.
That is ok, he says the usuals.

I wanted actually to hear from you guys, your experience about online dealer bj.
Do you play there instead of live or used to play at your first steps, then quit them for live or prefer the online better?

What is your view about online dealers?

From what I seen the online dealers push the side bets. They will say you are leaving money on the table when they hit if you are not playing them. I've seen some tip hustling but not much. When someone tips they call it "love" and dealer will say "thanks for the love."

Question is about, do you play at online dealers instead of live, or used to play and then quit for live, or you continue to play there?

Not to describe what you have seen or how is played, BUT IF YOU play there, etc.

They play, they win. Mostly on promotions from trusted rooms.

I only play online for promotions and I only play live dealers if the promotion requires it. Not because of any perceived issues, but because the live dealers are so slow.

What do you want to say? Is this good for harvesting online casino comps? Or recreation?

When harvesting promotions, the faster you can play the better, so I prefer to avoid the live games unless it is required.

For straight advantage play, the live games are too slow and the penetration is too shallow for me to bother with.

For recreation, low minimums and slow play are a good thing.

What about the other options the online internet dealers give, than the slow speed?
You can watch a couple of tables at same time, and jump in whenever you like, join any table with one click, leave the current and join the next, if counting is good.

Not to mention you can have more than 1 box without having a pair of eyes looking at you, can close additional box if counting gets against you, and all these without having to explain a thing to anyone.

Not to mention the cash -in -out, one click, whatever is the amount...whenever is the time...not to take care to carry the chips from place to place.

To my view, at least for me without having a casino close to my place, the online bj dealers is an advantage

Do you know if all live-casino providers have 8 decks of cards or does it vary?

Also, can it really be true that live roulette is more popular than blackjack? Soruce: https://www.casivo.com/live-casino/
