    Norm, your story sounds way worse than just giving them ID. For the purposes of being under the radar for card counting, that is.

    Depends upon your style. The point is to extract cash over long periods. The workers in casinos are not the owners. In some ways it's like dealing with local police if you have an exoticar and a lead foot. I am certainly not claiming that my handling of this particular situation was ideal. What I am saying is that you must not treat the enemy as an enemy. Instead, make them comfortable that you are not a threat. And, in the long run, there can actually be additional benefits from strange bedfellows.
