    Don S saves the day

Don S confirmed in private correspondence that he was ready to come to the rescue of me (and Cacarulo) and help complete the deal with book. Within a couple of days I will send the book. Now my city is going through the worst of its times. It seems that we have been shifted into an alternate reality.

This is the outskirts of my city Kharkov, which is closer to the border with Russia.

Happy to oblige. And, our thoughts and prayers remain with you and the remarkably brave and resilient Ukrainian people.

Unfortunately, it is reality, not alternate reality. Alternate reality you can see in state TV to the North and East of there and even some channels here.

The music perfectly fits the dystopian imagery. I can't place the piano piece, but reminds me of another sad time. I assume the piece in the middle is Mogilevskaya's strong, expressive voice. Brought tears.

Natalya Mogilevskaya, Anthem of the city of Kharkov-

This is the city where dreams come true.
Where the soul trembles with happiness at dawn.
This is the city where you are next to me,
The best city on the planet!

    Chorus:
This is my favorite city Kharkov! This is our favorite city!
A city that you will never betray with your heart.
This is your favorite city Kharkiv - your favorite city!
My beloved hero city, where I am always with you.

This is a city of inspiring beauty.
    Talented people are born here.
This city is me and it's you
And that's why we love our city.

    Chorus:
This is my favorite city Kharkov! This is our favorite city!
A city that you will never betray with your heart.
This is your favorite city Kharkiv - your favorite city!
My beloved hero city, where I am always with you.

    [Solo]

This is my favorite city Kharkov! This is our favorite city!
A city that you will never betray with your heart.
This is your favorite city Kharkiv - your favorite city

And now a little bit of facts - Kharkiv has a population of 2 million. Kharkiv holds the record for the number of educational institutions on the territory of the former USSR. This is one of the leading think tanks with the best brains in Ukraine. Stands on a platform 200 meters above sea level. Not subject to natural disasters in the long term. It has the best living soil in the world. If you stick a dry branch into the ground, then in half a year an apple, pear or plum will bloom. Irrigation is not required.
Kharkiv is located at the intersection of the energy lines of the planet, like the pyramids of Giza, Easter Island...
Ukrainian girls, according to the general world recognition, are the most beautiful in the world. Their largest concentration is in Kharkov. This is the city that was touched by the hand of the goddess of beauty Aphrodite.

And these are the facts. If you don't believe me, Google to the rescueand. This is no joke, it's amazing and no less serious...

Gramazeka - question about city name and spelling:
For many years, I've seen Kharkov (ending rhymes with "of.") More recently, Kharkiv, and pronounced with ending "eve." Even you you spell it both ways. Why the difference?

    Ukrainian: Kharkiv
    Russian: Kharkov

Tried to add the Cyrilic for each, but didn't work.

In conservative terms, Kharkov is correct. But in connection with the new trends of nationalization, they decided to change the spelling Kharkiv. But all these new trends come from globalists-swindlers. It is obvious that these manipulations are beneficial to someone.

And a couple hundred cookbooks are going to have to change the spelling of chicken Kiev:

Tastes great either way, if done correctly, which ain't easy.

Maybe not! Have you seen Peking duck changed anywhere to Beijing duck?!

There seems to be some sort of a disconnect between the culinary world and the political world.
