Wondering about the highest amount ever wagered in one hand of Black Jack

Just curious, does anyone know of what might be the highest ever wager in Black Jack for one hand of cards in an established casino? From You tube I can watch people like Drake wager 100k Per hand for online Black Jack. But I am wondering if there are any tables in Vegas, or Macao, or wherever where the player actually bets like 500k per hand, or even 1 million dollars per hand? I imagine their has to be an upper bound on the highest bet, I couldn't imagine some Billionaire betting 10 million on one hand and the Casino allowing such a thing? Can any betting or casino experts give me some information on this? Thanks.

Benny Binion used to allow anyone to come into his casino and bet any amount, which then became the upper limit, so you couldn't parlay. It wouldn't surprise me if someone once bet a million on a BJ hand.

This was going to be my response as well. The largest bet I've ever personally witnessed was $500k that Kerry Packer bet on a hand of BJ at the (new) MGM Grand back in the 1990's. But I've heard many stories of Texas oil and cattle barons coming into the Horseshoe back in the 1970's and 1980's with a suitcase containing $1M or more and betting it all on one hand of BJ or one line bet in craps.

It is not uncommon for the super-rich to negotiate private games with conditions and limits not normally inaccessible. They often don't want the attention of the media and/or the public as to their gambling. That would almost certainly be where the largest blackjack wagers occur.
I would not be surprised if 10 million_+ wagers have happened somewhere. That's not that excessive if both parties have multi-billion dollar resources, large as these wagers would be in absolute terms. We can never know the specific details obviously unless someone on the inside of these things violates a disclosure agreement and does a tell-all memoir.

Blackjack is unlikely to be the game which has produced the highest ever stakes, baccarat is the game typically associated with high-rollers especially asian whales.

The question which arises is in such million dollar games do they allow for instance the bettor to inspect and touch the shoe, examine remaining cards, bring the table home etc. Bill Zender even commented it is possible for casino to cheat

In Macau the highest maximum I saw so far is HK$5m (=US$640,000), but in recent years bets of HK$500k are to be considered high already.

In Australia, the highest bet on a single hand of Blackjack that I have been (reliably) told about is A$25,000 and that would have been in a private room. Kerry Packer may have bet more but he usually played in London or Vegas.
