    CVCX - Two Hands Question

    Hi all,

When tweaking my bets on the simulation output screen I can see a box which says 'Play Two Hands', when clicking it, it sets all TC bets to x2.

I'm trying to set my custom bet fields to only do 2 hands at certain TCs. Is this possible? In effect I'm trying to create a strategy where the second hand wongs in and out.

    --

I'm also wondering what kind of heat stepping up and down your number of hands attracts, but I realise that's for another thread so will perhaps ask that somewhere else later.

    Kind Regards

Not looking at it right now, but there’s an up down arrow right there or underneath that indicates where you set the TC before you spread to 2 hands.

As for heat, for sake of argument that you are playing HI LO. You will find that your maximum SCORE is spreading at TC 1. Keep in mind that’s the True Count bucket, so in other words, wait till SCORE is at TC 1.5. Before spreading to 2 hands. However, if you set at TC1, you will be going up and down from 1 hand 2 like a toilet seat. So, wait till True 2 or preferably 2.5 before you do that. That will slightly reduce SCORE but will also reduce heat.

Thanks very much for the input.

I've had a another look and this is what I have:

    Capture.PNG

The box next to 'Back-Counting' seems to only apply to that, toggling it does not seem to change the number of hands within the table below.

However, I have found that I can do this on the sim setup screen, it just means I have to run a new sim to play around with it.

I've plugged in a TC 3 and if I put this one in to practice I will keep the second hand open until TC drops back down below 1.5

    Kind Regards
