Is CVBJ good for Hi-Lo practice?

I've always been under the impression that CVBJ is good for unbalanced counting practice but for balanced counts it could prove difficult. Wouldn't the discard tray estimation be difficult to perform looking at a pc screen? Is that something that can really be simulated? Any thoughts from experienced users would be helpful.

CVBJ includes 300 some photos of discard trays which are merged into the table graphics using masks, so you realistic 3D with reflections. There are about 750 files in total.

I think it's very good for deck estimation, especially here in the UK where the majority of playing card manufacturers seem to be reducing costs by making cards both smaller and thinner. The pics in cvbj (in my opinion) are a more accurate reflection of real casino play than practicing at the kitchen table
