    “Can I see your ID?”

Hello. In general, what is the threshold for cashing out without being asked for ID?

I ask because recently I was asked for my ID when cashing out at a property where I’ve been trespassed. I pulled my chips back and made up an excuse for not having my ID on me.

I’ve been playing a number of stores that have asked me not to play there anymore and they already have my ID on file.

Just wondering what the tolerance level is. Do I need to keep my payouts to less than $500 increments?

    Thanks

Depends on the casino. Cartainly less than 3K at most places. Also, never get chips bigger than purple. And some places want ID for purple.
Also, if you look young, thresholds don't matter. They will ask regardless of amount.

I look young. What should I do about this? Common knowledge says that you shouldn't give up your ID, what if they're always asking me because I look young?
