    CVIndex Issues

    Hello,

I am a new CVData user. I am trying to create a simple CVIndex for a Double Deck DAS S17 HiLo count and have a few questions.

    1. It says to take insurance at a count >=0 and it says this for all deck sizes I test. This cannot be true, right? What could I be inputting incorrectly?
    2. Is there a way to look at the basic strategy chart for a given sim? Does basic strategy change based on number of decks or penetration expected?

    Thank you,
    AAP

On the first, in the configuration screen, go to Tools-Export, create an export file and email it to [email protected]. Doesn't sound like you have it set for HiLo.

Yes, basic strategy can change by decks. But, not sure what you're asking here.

I have sent the zip file.

I am asking how can I view the basic strategy table generated by a given CVIndex sim?

    Thanks,
    AAP

Haven't received it. If you generate a sim and have Create a sim file checked and a name specified on the Index tab, you can click Show or go to Define/Edit Strategies, click on it and open it, you can examine it.

Correction: It was in my junk folder for some reason. Will look at it in the morning.

For others who may encounter a similar issue, my True Count Divisor was set to "half decks remaining" instead of "full decks remaining" which divided all indices by two.
