The KS is faster, but not worth the price. The 12600 has truly excellent price/performance. But, I needed more power to get CVData V6 out.

I have a question for Norm, as a fan of computer science research. Ryzen 5900 (no X), where is it sold? I can't find it even though the processor exists...

I think it is sold to OEMs only, like Hewlett Packard.

Look what's up - I have an amazing 5600x processor and want to upgrade to 5900x. I consider the AM 5 platform an overprice along with DDR 5. I found out about 5900 (no X) and asked you...

AMD has a price problem, partly due to the DDR5 requirement and more expensive motherboards.

At the moment, 5900x is the limit for my Asus Tuf Gaming b450m upgrade, and it will cover 95% of the tasks in the modern world.
And this is without changing the platform!

Norm, which upgrade would you choose?

    1. 5600x - 5900x.
    2. 5600x - 5800x3d.

    (Gpu RX 570 4gb)

ps. The processors cost the same. The bottleneck in the build is the GPU.

I don't know AMD's GPUs. I have read that the x3d's are only useful in some games that like very large caches and they don't seem to tell you which. I don't play those kinds of games and haven't looked further.
