    CVCX Custom Bets

If I use the custom bets function in CVCX, are the numbers that I put in representative of a number of chips? In the picture below, would the custom bets column: 1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 20, be equivalent to dollar amounts: $5, $5, $10, $20, $40, $80, $100 respectively? I am trying to simulate using a bet spread of 1-20 at a table with a $5 minimum bet. I have set the minimum bet to $5 and the minimum chip size to 1, but it seems odd that the "chips" column under "optimal bets" starts at 5. This seems to me like that would be a bet of $25 since you are using 5x$5 chips. Are the numbers listed under "chips" and "custom bets" actually dollar values? To achieve the bet spread of 1-20 if they are dollar values (with the same structure as pictured), I would then need to use the numbers 5, 5, 10, 20, 40 , 80, 100, is this correct?

    rywex24,

On your figure, the "Min. Chip Size" is set to $1, so the "Chips" are in $1 increments. Thus, your Optimal Bets range from $5 to $200. Note that all the Optimal Bets are divisible by 5, because you set the Minimum Bet to $5 and chose "Minimum Bet Size" for Simplify.

If you change the "Min. Chip Size" to $5 and leave the other settings, your Optimal Bets will range from 1 to 40, like you expect.

    Hope this helps!
