    Hammer the Over

DraftKings has a sports bet promotion going called "Hammer the Over." If I'm interrupting this bet correctly I can't believe my eyes.

What do you make of this:
The promotional Points Total will reduce by 0.5 pt’s for every 5,000 customers that bet the market. i.e. if the original Points Total is 50 and 100,000 customers place an eligible bet, the promotional Points Total will reduce to 40
    - The ‘Hammer the Over Total Special’ will settle as a winner if the Points Total in the game exceeds the final promotional Points Total

I made my bet at 19, right now its down to 7.5. I tried to make a larger bet, but I could only make a $25 bet. Does this mean if the total game score is over 7.5 you win the bet? Anybody else betting on this?

The over is now down to 5. The cutoff time is 8:15 pm tonight. Looks like pretty much a sure thing. I suppose their is a chance the game could end as low as 0 to 2.

Just one of a million promotions currently being run. You should see what's offered in NY, where sports wagering just became legal. Four companies all vying for customers. Just giving money away to hook the clients.

Don, not sure if you are in NY or NJ, but get in on the action. I did real well with my online casino and betting the first year it was legal in MI. Best gambling year ever.

You have to be physically in the state of NY to bet in the state. I assume you live in NY state.

I’ve randomly betted out all my bonus and first deposit. I read the rule after I signed up. It says that the $3000 match bonus is available only on my first real money deposit, but my first deposit was too small <<$3000. Does this mean I will not get any match bonus from CaesarsSports anymore on my future deposits? If that is the case, I regret putting too little deposit into my account.

Please help me convert my bonus balance into real cash! I have doubled my bonus balance through betting through once but still can’t cash it out. I don’t understand, but below are the terms:
    What is a wagering requirement?
In order for your Bonus Cash to become real cash (meaning you can withdraw it or bet it), you need to wager an amount equal to your bonus cash amount (so if have $1,000 in bonus cash and a 1x playthrough, you need to wager $1,000 to "unlock" it). Also, your wager must settle first - meaning the bet is over and the outcome is complete (e.g. it's not when you place the bet but when the game or market you bet on has a winner or pushes).
What bets unlock my Bonus Cash?
Both Cash and Bonus Cash bets count to your wagering requirement. So any bet you place with Cash or Bonus Cash will help you to unlock your bonus!
Can I withdraw the bonus cash?
Not until you have met the bonus cash wagering requirement above (and made at least one deposit if you have never deposited before). Also, and this is important, you cannot withdraw while you have Bonus cash still in the Bonus cash balance - you need to either forfeit the remaining bonus or bet what is left.

Does this mean I must deposit additional $600 and play through all of it to cash out the $600 bonus balance?

We’re there min odds requirements and we’re they met? And, unless someone on here has had the same experience, only Caesars support (maybe) will be able to help you interpret the meaning of the T&C. From what I’ve seen on the Twitter, good luck with that…

I made a few more bets today and then my bonus balance became real cash for me to withdraw. This is real money. This is almost risk free. I strongly recommend Caesars!

Does New York have online casino games or just sports betting?

Online casino games are illegal in NY but this is not a problem because they are legal in neighbors NJ and PA.
