So if my normal count is say +7 and if I saw 3 Aces, mentally I'm thinking of two columns +7 3. It is easier to count aces forward rather than backward because all you have to do is look at the discard tray and you can easily see if poor or rich aces. Just my thoughts on the matter.
It seems you are using Hi OPT II with ASC. Right? Counting aces in an 8-deck shoe is not easy. When I did it, I stack 8 white chips up in a pile and then I remove one chip from the top whenever 4 aces are gone. This is still too obvious to the casino because I was backed off for doing this. I've never tried two column numbers.

I've never seen such a thing anywhere. For Spanish 21, the best opportunity is the Match-the-dealer side bet. If BJGenius007 can do two side counts, this bet should be a gold rush.

OmegaII count. I'm only trying to side count with 6 decks (my main game is 6 deck). Only side counting in my daily practice routine, not quite ready to try it live.

I am no fan of Omega II but a fan of Hi Opt II. For shoe games, you need Zen. There are some Zen experts on this forum.
