Click Define/Edit Strategies on the Playing Strategy screen.

This seems like a good place to re-iterate my interest in the ability to participate in a side bet if the true count is either below a value, or above a different value. IE Bet if TC < -3 or TC > 3.

I concur with AerialSnack's statement in order to sim for advantages regarding the PYL sidebet.

I know this may be a tall order, but one thing i really wish CVdata could do would be able to expand its limits on "Multi-Hand Stategys". I wish there was option to insert your own card tags/system for any hand you wanted.

You'll need to explain that further.

For example, i would like to use Ho2 for stiff hands only, Ao2 for split and Halves for doubles..I would like to be able to mix and match however i wanted with any hand esp. with "user strategies". Im curious on how the sims would turn out...

Sounds like you are talking about Hi-Opt II with a 6,9 multi-parameter side count. Probably not the best side count.

No no, no multiparameters....Lets say i wanted to use Ho2 for Hard15 and Hard16 ONLY but then switch to "lets say" Ao2 for H12, H13 and H14...

Or in another example, lets say i wanted to use Ho2 for ALL hands "except" for 1 hand ONLY. And Lets say that hand was 16vs7. I Wish there was an option that would let me click on a cell per se for the Hand of 16v7 and let me use whatever custom "Playing Strategy" i wanted...Ya know, like a special action kinda deal..

Still sounds like MP counting...cuz that's what it is.

You are using multiple parameters to adjust your play from basic strategy.

Right. Mulit-Parameters are used to adjust your running count based on the shortage or surplus of a certain card or cards to adjust for a specific hand.. I was more less wanting CVdata to use one system for a specific group of hands, while using another system for a completely different group of hands. Which differs from traditional multiparameter approaches correct? Anyway i just thought i would mention it, if too much programing wasnt involved..

Yeah, still sounds like this is just an MP count. That would be far easier than keeping two balanced counts, which also usually have ace side counts.

I'll give it some thought. But, I have a new PC coming in today and will be attempting to xfer everything. Not something I enjoy -- to put it lightly.

Can CVData calculate indices for specific plays incorporating a particular side count, and the rest of the indices are calculated normally with just the primary count system? Does this take two iterations of the study?
