Playing around with CVData and CVCX a bit as part of testing the new Intel chip architecture. This would be a good time for change requests.
Support of arbitrary ranges for running count of unbalanced counts. For instance, using a Betting Strategy (Simple), it is not possible to set the "Count Range Start" and "Count Range End" at numbers greater than 50. However, I would like to set the IRC at e.g. 100, as some books recommend in order to avoid negative numbers. I would like to replace 0,1,2 by 101, 102, 103... and -1, -2, -3 by 99, 98, 97... but it is not possible to set my betting and playing strategy to running counts and indexes around 100.
Yes, but for training purposes, I like to display the RC on the right side of the table after each round played, in order to check if I'm still correct. And then I find it confusing if the number displayed is different from the number I have in my head when counting. Of course it is possible to not display the RC after each round, but I am not yet so proficient at counting, still in the process of learning and getting used to the whole process.
I am curious about what you mean by using methods to define a strategy.
There is a basic strategy published in the Wizard of Odds and also switching strategy that is credited to Cindy Liu in WOO.
There are more requirements than that to simulate the game?
I'm wondering if the game is countable by some method.
