    New Mexico + Philly Casinos

Hi all, making two separate trips in the coming months to Albuquerque and Philly/Pittsburgh. Any recommendations on casinos to visit there?

I saw Sandia looks to be the best in ABQ and Live! looks to be the best in Philly. I want to go with my family so a mix of fun ambiance with fun blackjack games would be nice.

    TIA.

If you want a mix I would go to Atlantic City.
Philly's casinos are pretty much isolated and hard core casinos. There is plenty of things for kids to do in Philly, but not near the casinos.
If you want decent blackjack rules/conditions, I would go to Bally's or Ocean. The old Showboat was turned into a kids arcade and sports bar which is right between the Hard Rock and Ocean. The AC boardwalk has things to do also, dependent on the time of year and the weather.

But PA can ban you, and they do. The casinos I mentioned above have same rules as pa or better.

There's no real-world difference between being banned and being half shoed or flat betted.

A common problem with New Mexico casinos is few blackjack tables with unplayable conditions.

You must be kidding. Double-deck, DAS, Surrender, 0.25 cut -- unplayable? Some of the best games in the Southwest are in NM.

Almost all AC games are crap…but, maybe a little turn for the better at Bally’s. They now have (and advertise) $25 min/3K max tables with 6D, S17, RSA x2, LS and NMSE. Hand shuffle though. Pen is very average at best. Borgata is doing the same thing. Don’t think they’ll let you raise your bet unrated though. Didn’t try myself.
