The 'push22' game should be beatable with the rules at my location unless most of the advantage comes at negative counts. I wong out at -1 so this would increase the HE for my game. I wonder how the advantage breaks down from -1 to +6? Also, to give you armchair AP's something to get excited about, I us Hi-Opt 1 with asc and dsc side counts. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

You are a Superman! I haven’t encountered anybody who claims their ability to use both ASC and DSC simultaneously. I am thinking it is countable mainly because you have more advanced skills!

Once you memorize the indices, it's easy to add other features to help ameliorate the boredom. Stiff vs. 10, stiff vs. 10, stiff vs. 10,etc. You get the picture.

It seems it is countable. You're only getting the edge one hand in twenty though, lots of sitting around, losing money on the main game.

But we were talking about the main blackjack bet, not the push 22 side bet. Right? This discountgambling analysis shows push 22 happens 7.4% of the times, too rare for a player to profit from this side bet.

Correction to post #1. I thought the PA rules were set in stone, apparently not. Surrender is not allowed in the push 22 game, which raises the HE to .81%. A disaster for CC's. The reduced variance is probably not enough to make up for the increased house edge.

The thing is. When you remove the surrender option in blackjack, the variance will increase and thus the game will become a lot less countable.
