    Stay Where You Play?

I’m new to counting so forgive my ignorance. I would presume that if you have a casino/hotel that you want to play at that you wouldn’t want to stay there?

Except when you are comped to a room there.

No. Use the comp room by all means and play elsewhere. Maybe play a little VP to keep the comp train going, then check out and stay elsewhere when you're ready to play at the casino in question. Never stay where you play 21. Bad shit will happen when you least expect. I used to stay at Casino Royale and play on the Strip

In general, I agree with you, but there are nuances and exceptions as you know. (I shared some of what I was doing at a lunch we enjoyed with Al a couple of years ago at a Mexican restaurant in Henderson.) One example. There's a Station casino I have been staying and playing at for years, playing both video poker and blackjack. My cumulative win is in the upper-five figures and yet I still have the ability to stay and play there. Part of what makes this fun-loving degen appearance work is that I hit them hard but limit my short-term wins (leaving after early big win, but grinding for hours through negative variance).

Use the comp to stay at casino A. Don't play at casino A (maybe some bonus accumulation slots, poker, or light bj).

Play at casino B, C, and D rated using a chill spread to garner future comps.

Revisit casino B, C, D etc. and play for real unrated.

Trip 2, you should have plenty of rooms/food/freeplay offers from B, C, D. Don't play hard at the place you're staying, only the other places.

You get mailers for quite a while, even if you stay and stiff the place.

One large chain was sending me $400-$800 a month plus rooms whenever for almost a year based on one losing session! I gave them almost no play for that long.

Thanks for the confirmation. My first trip a month or so ago I did play where I stayed but didn’t take a players card... After figuring out that I could actually count in a casino I plan to revisit...but stay elsewhere. It’s a good game and I don’t want to ruin it.

Flat bet at BJ table (but Wong out if count goes south) and play some slot machine there so they will keep comp your stay.

All depends on your betting. For example, red, green and MAYBE black you can stay where you play. Anything above the preceding sya elsewhere.

Green Valley Resort, without a doubt. They have good pizza there, too. Tell Jackie Price I said Hi!
