Question Has anyone on here win big at Blackjack because Dealer dealt cards the WRONG way?

A guy said that on a Blackjack Gambling App, he won big. He then took a REALLY good look and realized the Blackjack Dealer in the App was dealing the cards the WRONG way and mentioned that he could have lost big money in a real world Casino with a Dealer who was dealing the cards the RIGHT way.

Someone said in a real world Casino, the whole Blackjack Table constantly was winning big because the Dealer happened to be dealing the cards the WRONG way..... The Player mentioned the Dealer didn't know what he was doing and... None of the Players bothered to tell the Dealer he was dealing the cards the WRONG way....The very next day, that Dealer was gone.... Interesting. Has anyone won big in a real world Casino due to the Dealer dealing the cards the WRONG way?

What exactly do you mean by "the WRONG way"? Are you referring to a dealer who deals starting with the player to the dealer's right and moves from dealer's right to dealer's left?

I think in the Real World Casino example I gave, the Dealer was paying Gamblers who actually BUSTED, hence him not knowing what he was doing and being shortly fired afterwards...

I had this once happen, but if you are alone at the table, it makes no difference in the result.

No, the best one was: A dealer that did put the first card on box 1, then the second on box 2, the third to himself, the fourth on box 2 (instead of box 1) and the fifth on box 1 (instead of box 2). After the dealer did it, he realised that he made a mistake. Even the supervisor kind of felt that something awkward had happened. "Problem" was that I now had a blackjack on one of my boxes and the dealer did not want to disappoint me, so he told the supervisor not to correct it! I got paid.

In Australia, you would be paid because it would have been deemed to be a casino error. The supervisor would check the camera but the player would be paid in good faith. Similar issues happen with hand signals which have different meanings in different parts of the world and again, the player would be given the benefit of the doubt.

It does not change a goddamn thing which ever way cards are dealt, actually.

My own sim deals them 2 by 2, starting with the dealer because his "Player ID" is 0. It's simpler to code and runs a tad faster than if I dealt every other card to the players. It does not change anything.

It's like thinking that a ploppy "screwed you" by simply being there or making the wrong decision.

As for "wrong" in making mistakes, yes, it happens, and we just don't tell anything. Point out the mistakes against you, say nothing about the mistakes for you. It gives you an extra edge.

Hmm. Is NOT telling the Dealer he is making mistakes when his mistakes are giving you big wins considered Cheating? :/

It is not your or my responsibility to tell the dealer that he/she is making mistakes. Regardless, I will advise dealer when said errors are in violation of my prime directive, that being to earn EV.

Think about dealer errors and pit rulings which cause a reduction in your prime directive.
