    Taking a casino-attendance?

I am really curious. How many APs here acutually gamble frequently in casinos? I personally gamble 5 days a week. I know some slot-APs actually camp out in casinos 24/7. What about you guys? Shall I take a casino-attendance here just for fun?

    You should do a poll.

I can easily predict the result without taking a poll. In America, it is always these people who live in Nevada, California, Washington, and the New York areas who frequently patronize casinos. As far as I can tell, 99% of the AP here live in these places because there are plenty of casinos for them to visit, and to educate them.

    Plenty of casinos in NY?

People in the New York area can gamble in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and NY itself. There are more than a dozen casinos for them to visit within a driving distance. This is also where advanced APs live.

The trip to AC is very long and incredibly, incredibly boring without really good company. PA, CN, and NY casinos are not close to NYC. I'd rather fly to LV.

Norm - you don't like the scenic view at Exit 13?

I believe the answer varies by age, how long people have been an AP and what the AP income supports.

My suspicion is that those who are under 30, those who have been AP less than 10 years and those AP’s who need the income to pay all their bills will likely be in the group that visits casinos 4-6 days a week. After that are those who have other sources of income and who are working, single etc., who likely try to get in fewer hours per month, say 25. They may do this by traveling once or twice a year. Then there are the AP’s who are older AP’s, who have simply got tired of the grind, do it now and then, maybe average 150 hours a year.

I am one of those who used to play 5 days a week till I lost the local casinos, then went on trips of 4-5 days a month, put in 25 hours a month and after a year of Covid, seems to have lost the motivation.

Not into oil refineries. Did get stopped there once for speeding. I saw him and slammed on the brakes. Told him I was just trying to get by the smell. He said, it's OK, you were decelerating so fast (sic) my radar couldn't get a lock. You can go around this by going through Queens, and then Staten Island, and then over the Verrazano Bridge. Gorgeous bridge. Nerve racking on a motorcycle.

Never been on a motorcycle, but I'd imagine there's some shimmying over the metal grating?
That's the way I go to AC - via the Verrazano. There's still the smell of Staten Island, which probably isn't any better than exit 13. In a car, just have to remember to hit recirc at the appropriate time.
