That said why remove cards when you can just pay 6/5 on BJs?

Not sure if you’re referring to OP or me. If me - cheating by stores in my general areas if play are virtually unheard of. I’m aware of a couple if minor issues worth only a slap on the hand. The issue intimated would be far more serious if verified. Since I now know it’s done, I’m prepared to make a point. This store also freely exercises one of the minor issues mentioned. Can’t do it right now though, after COVID or as things loosen up.

Freightman - i was replying to the 1st post in the thread. Namely dont play in a places where you dont feel everything is on the up and up. I tend to think that a licensed company operating in a regulated market is not going to risk having a couple of front line, low paid employees short a shoe as a matter of policy. Not saying it cant happen, i just think its extremely rare.

Personally I have only witnessed outright cheating that i am aware of on one occasion. The scenario involved a dealer giving verbal tips to a player at the table. Clearly they were in cahoots, i lowered my bets to $25/hand and played till her break watching the show and then disappeared. I figured that the play would self-destruct. I went back to this casino several years later and the dealer was still there - so the casino was more clueless than i would have imagined. It was kinda comical as the dealer's verbal signals were not hidden or coded in any way, when it was time to take insurance she would just say take it or i don't have it. Was asking for insurance bets after checking the table reader. Basic strategy was to do whatever the dealer said, but as i said I just lowered my bets and then got the hell outta there as i didnt want to be around when the heat came down.
