I really hope that he is the dumbest member of all time...if so it is quite endearing. I have been playing for close to 50 years now at high stakes, and many times my sister is at the table also. You would think playing next to a skilled counter after all these years, something would rub off...but it never does. She gets a 13 vs a ten and still looks at me in wonderment as if it were the first time she ever saw such a hand....or a 10 vs 6.....should I double? After 50 years you would think some element of even basic strategy would sink in by accident but it never does. I find Aceside endearing in the same way....at times you almost think there is some level of understanding, some appreciation of how skilled many are in this forum, and then he says something so obviously wrong....you think...oh there is no level of understanding. To be a troll, you need to be smart enough to know what will get your audience going...I think he is more like my sister...he just looks at a situation and doesn't seem to be able to draw from the past to get a good, logical reasoning. Aceside....I am a fan...

Happy blackjack! And may the variance be ever in your favor.

I am pleased to read your comments and let me add a few more of my thoughts. I am nobody, just a beginner AP having beaten some games but also been beaten by other games. Many forum members have told me to read more blackjack literatures and post less; however, I trust this forum better than any books.

Also, I admire high rollers very much, even including 21forme, even though he criticized me the hardest…

That description and similarity to someone known and the subsequent response absolutely made my day. How do you spell "oblivious"?

I am an experienced player but my problem is only this one, I just dare not bet enough money when the odds are good enough.
    hmmm
Appears you dribble before you shoot, thus leading to small family size. The regaled FBM ASC may assist you with your inhibitions and improve your feelings of inadequacy, as they pertain to betting envy.

The voluminous works of Sigmund Freud may well hold clues to assist with your Zeeish betting philosophy.

Is this a simile or a metaphor? I often misread a disparaging remark as a compliment, but whatever it is is good for me. Some of my posts are for pure entertainment.

I watched all of the video clips you posted. They were closely pertinent to the flow of that thread. A video is worth ten thousand words.

If you are sincere with this comment, I'll try to help you here. But if you are just trolling, I've wasted my time and just ignore it.

You are very misguided, not only in your approach to BJ, but in your learning process. You are wasting 99% of your time trying to reinvent the wheel. For example, your recent post about splitting 66v7 and 77v8 in DD. Those plays don't matter., especially for a beginner. They are so insignificant in the overall scheme of things. There are so many more important things to learn.

There are a number of BJ books that CAN teach you how to play. If you have a question about something you read from a credible book, that's what the forum is for. You really can't learn how to play just from this forum.

And don't forget Norm's software, both for practice sessions and sims. It's a lot cheaper to make mistakes in a virtual game, as you learn, than in a casino. Time to stop being penny-wise, pound-foolish and buy some books and software.

I’ll follow your advice to read into some books and softwares. May the variance be ever in our favor!
