    Splitting 88 v 9 in Spanish 21?

I ran the CVData index generator twice using Spanish 21 presets (except S17). Playing strategy uses tags for Super Monkey count (Aces tagged -2). The results I got look reasonable, except one thing sticks out like a sore thumb: both sims say to never split 88 vs. 9. This doesn't match any chart I've ever seen for Spanish 21. For the second sim I looked at the report and got even more confused:

Doesn't this data say splitting is better? What's going on here?

Do you have RA (risk-averse) turned on?

None of the risk aversion boxes are checked.

Ahh, turns out a line of code related to reverse indices & SP21 somehow got commented out. I've restored it and sent you an update. If it's OK, I'll update the site later today.

Incidentally, this is related to inverse split indices. Braun's indices show that 88v9 is a reverse index in Hi-Opt II. This really isn't true, at least in any practical sense. Hi-Opt II says split<39. This is the same as always split, since in the extraordinarily rare circumstance that the count is that high, you may as well flip a coin as the remaining cards are unpredictable.
