I agree with you, but you can't just throw around numbers recklessly with no basis for the conclusions. It's a VERY far cry to go from 0.5% house edge from BS to ten times that amount. When you try to think of the typical mistakes novices make, you would be very hard pressed to conjure up enough of them to get the cost to an extra 4.5%.
