No Zee. 21forme is pulling your leg. It is March 2nd and it looks like Rampart casino is offering a beatable game for the day with just basic strategy if the above article is correct.
The 2021 Blackjack Bonus throughout the day (beginning at 10 a.m.), will reward any Blackjack player that hits a $10 Suited Blackjack (minimum $10 bet), a bonus $20 free bet. (Must be a Rampart Rewards club member.)

According to CBJN Rampart casino has only a house edge of 0.40% on their blackjack double deck game. Assume you flat bet $10 a hand and 100 hands an hour. Over an hour's time you will lose $4 per hour. However, you will get a suited blackjack once in every 84 hands which will earn you a voucher for a $20 free bet. Assume you win half of those free bets and you will be adding $10 to your hourly rate. Net for the game $6 profit per hour. Play 2 hands at once and make $12 per hour. Anybody disagree with my analysis.

Lucky it's not New Year's Day! That's coming next. No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public, nor the greed of casino owners.

Nice to see you make a post about BJ, rather than snow.

I just checked your math. You get a suited blackjack at a probability of 4/1326=0.3%. In other words, playing 100 hands in one hour, you will make 100*20*0.3%=$6 from this bonus alone, but you will lose $4 an hour from your main game. This means you can make $2 an hour.

MWP, I understood what 21forme posted about June 5th. He has a great sense of humor along with guy who scratches his balls most often.

I played the Rampart a few times, started getting heat and quit. Nice place. The casino next door to it had a good game too.

Zee, you mention me in the same sentence with the ball scratcher?!

I haven't been to Rampart often, but I found it sweaty, as well.

    aceside,

You might want to check your suited BJ math...

For a DD game, the probability of a BJ is

    2*8*32/(104*103) = 0.048...

or about 1 in 20.9 rounds.

Since one-fourth of the BJ's are suited, the suited BJ probability is thus 0.012, or about 1 in 83.6 rounds, which is about what MWP used in his calculation.

Your probability is one-fourth of the correct value. Perhaps you were thinking of a suited A-K?

    Hope this helps!

You are nice. I was thinking about suited A-K. Thank you for correcting.
