    Question Side bet progressive

    I wanted to calculate the EV for a side bet progressive with no public info .. I am not much for CA and probabilities, though I did pick up a 'Probabilities for the enthusiastic beginner' .. we will see where that goes.

    I can sim fairly well but since CVdata cannot differentiate between just color (for now) I coded and simmed this myself. (6 Spanish decks)

    Assumed a 100% jackpot of $5000. And since this is a 'for one' payout not a 'to one' payout I changed the return formula to p*(EV-1)

    My sim resulted in a HE of 10%. I would be grateful if anyone could check/agree with these numbers ..
