    Odd Behavior in CVBJ

I discovered something really odd with my playing strategy in CVBJ. When I click display tables, its surrender chart is all wrong, and I made a "playing error" based on that chart. The error log shows the same wrong chart. But when I go in to define/edit strategy, it shows the correct surrender chart.

I double checked that it's using the same strategy chart from the same folder, I can't think of anything else it could be.

There are different tables depending on rules, decks, and if you have set limitations like Illustrious 18 that modify the tables.

But I have it set as a simple strategy, as far as I can tell, it shouldn't be changing for anything.

I can't understand why it shows different tables when I view it vs. when I go to edit it.

Do you have Full Indices set on Attach a Strategy? If not, it will reduce the number of indices.

It's not even indices, the basic strategy changes! Some hands that you should surrender are marked as don't surrender.

You would have to send me details. The strategy is changed based on your settings. Some setting is causing that.

In the game menu, select File then Backup, create a backup file and email to [email protected].

I did some testing, it appears to be changing based on the index settings. Thanks for the help!

Why does changing how many indexes you allow change the basic strategy chart?

I would need to know exactly what you are changing, what strategy changes result, and what strategy you are using.
