For the 3000th time, I don't read anywhere near all posts. And stop bringing up politics.

An ellipsis is three dots ... with a space on either end ... per the AP Stylebook. The Chicago Manual of Style recommends spaces between the individual dots . . . but agrees on spaces surrounding the ellipsis . . . as if it were a word.

Think of the ellipsis as a word consisting of three dots.

Ellipsis is a second level course. We're still struggling with Apostrophe 101.

Valiant effort, but you have no idea of how badly you're wasting your time.

Sorry I offended you, Zee. A friend of yours told me you went by the handle, Arby, on BJA until Colin banned you. Hang in there, man! Happy New Year!

Strangers whom I have never met cannot offend me. BJA has the shortest fuse, Colin does not allow any suggestion that anyone can fail at being a full time card counting professional. It hurts his business.

I can sense that in some of his videos. I do not like to do business with someone who has a "failure is not an option" type of thinking, anyways, and I know people like that do not care.

I have a similar outlook. There is no reason to care about or react to things that people I don't respect say or do.

This is what I am concerned about:

Are the people in the United States getting the same vaccine?

The NYPost is a very poor source. I read the original Norwegian press release, and it doesn't make any definitive claim. It does say that if you are extremely frail or terminal, an mRNA vaccine could hasten death.

Uh..this is a first for me! What's the reason? The immune system attacks to mRNA as a foreign disease agent and goes ape-shit?

mRNA vaccines, as well as standard vaccines, can have mild side effects as the body reacts to a foreign agent to generate antibodies. But, unlike Covid, the vaccines do not have the ability to replicate and therefore are quickly removed by the body. As I understand it, these vaccines have characteristics of Covid so the generated antibodies will also attack Covid. The immune system retains the antibodies for a time and will fight an actual, later Covid attack, including variants. The side effects of vaccines are generally minor. But, if you are already at death's door, even mild side effects could be a problem.

I'd get the vaccine in a second. But, there are no available appointments nearby.
