Day 8: Even with reduced spread backoffs are quick in Vegas. There are a few decent spots that'll give you a couple hours, but I would not recommend counting here unless you're going to give up a lot in cover. I heard this sentiment before, but I wanted to verify for myself. Result: 4 hours play -895 2 backoffs
Day 9: Struggling to find play time. Confident I've been fliered. Not even an hour on the tables and 2 backoffs. Would've been 3, but I just bounced cause I don't want to play through neutral/negative shoes to get backed off the second I raise my bet. Before I got my money on the table the phone rang, lady looked at me, called a guy over, and he stared down my action. I colored up and left after one DD shoe. This is my last day in Vegas. Over and out.
You trip is positive. Good for you. I haven’t made a positive trip in LV yet but I am not worried about that. I am planning to make a trip to Las Vegas but I am not sure about the play conditions there. Are there plexiglass dividers on blackjack tables? How many divisions are there for each table? Do there require ID for admission to casinos?

Day 9 result +$320 in one hour of play through four casinos all across town. Two backoffs. The other two I left just before they did. Getting fliered doesn't make it impossible to play, but a little more difficult.
Day 10: 5 hours of play +155. A little cover went a long way. I got wined and dined by one casino giving me a free filet Oscar at their fancy steakhouse. Playing a less profitable game for comps was fun, but not worth the EV given up.
I'm looking forward to today's play.
I believe you but really do not understand why it is for six deck shoes. All of my past major losses were in the situations of six deck shoes with an irritating dealer. The dealer collected my cards and chips so quick that I had no time to change my bet amount and this often irritated me. This is particularly true when I played heads up and in old casinos. Can you explain this a little bit more? In double deck and eight deck games, I haven’t experienced these bad situations and therefore haven’t lost very big. Thank you in advance.

I also dress down while playing - its a comfort thing. Pre COVID was dressed up in a suit/tie for my day job so when I played compensated for it by always dressing casual. That said while playing have several pairs of special pants designed to securely and comfortably hold all the tools of APing. When i first started was much younger and thought buying some expensive items would be a good investment for the "high roller" look. Never really pulled the trigger on that approach and havent had too many problems. The only accessory needed to come off as a degen is a roll, during the dot bomb era recall seeing a young guy - coulndt have been more than about 25 spreading 3x10K on the main floor at MGM wearing a t-shirt, bathing suit, and flip flops. Certainly shaped my view on what is needed to fit into the casinos viewpoint of looking the part.
