How do they know who have signed up to take the vaccine? Also, the $600 stimulus check is an "insult". Congress should have pulled from the business aid within the $900 billion deal package to make the stimulus check and unemployment compensation larger. You tell them that then they going to philosophize you which is a nonsense to me.

Well, I will take the first available. There is some merit to the question of which vaccine in terms of some apprehension albeit not scientifically-based, about mRNA vaccines. The results of the 2 trials for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are so impressive indeed. For the available data published for Pfizer vaccine, protection appears to start 2 weeks after the first dose but its maximum 2 weeks after the 2nd dose.
If you are not encouraged by this, I can give you another scary possibility. As more and more people get the vaccine, there is a good chance that vaccinated people will continue to get infected. They will not get sick because of their immunity. So, they will appear perfectly ok and unknowingly infect vulnerable people who are not vaccinated.

You know why the stimulus is so low? Because America is full of cowards!!! When something is not right, you push back. It does not matter who the person is. I have been doing that all my life, in college and my career. I do not care I get into deep trouble, too.

Just recently my doctor told me I will probably only be able to get the Moderna vaccine. The U.P. doesn't have freezers cold enough for the Pfizer vaccine.

However. the U.P. has received quite a few doses of the vaccine already. However, some counties in the U.P. have received none. I don't think Keweenaw county will ever receive any doses as I don't believe there is even a doctor in the county.

I am struck with the irony that one of the coldest places on earth does not have a cold enough freezer. There is another reason, we do not have enough Pfizer vaccine is that Pfizer contracted 200 million doses wot EU while waiting to US to respond to their offer. So, they will be quite busy with the EU contract for a while.
