CPU Frequency needed to run CVDATA

I don't have CVDATA right now but I am buying a new laptop and I want to be able to run CVDATA on it. From what I have read on this forum, I should get a quad core processor to increase speed of sims. What would be a good GHz for my new laptop to have?

The faster the chip, the quicker the sims. But, newer chips are faster at the same GHz as they are able to execute more instructions per cycle.
