MGP's Blackjack Combinatorial Analyzer - Problem with settings

I want to find out the Basic Strategy and house edge according some rules.
But I have a problem: There are casinos which use the American Hole Card rules (OBO) but they check only fo
Blackjack when there is an "Ace" .. but they don't when there is a "Ten"

Now .. in the software by default the dealer checks unter "Ace" and "Ten" .. the problem is... I want the dealer checking only under Ace.. but it's not possible .. I cannot untick the "Default"

Is this an error with the software? Or is there something I don't know?

    Thank you

If all you care about is the correct basic strategy, what difference does it make if the dealer checks under the ten or not? How would that change BS if, regardless, the rules are OBO?

So I guess, if the Dealer only checks the Ace, I would double down 11 vs Ace ... but only HIT with 11 vs TEN (as the dealer doesn't check if it's a BJ... right? (Like in the ENHC rule)

What I also would like to know, is, what does it affect the house edge? I guess it's only a little change of the house edge.. the difference would be, that I don't DD 11 vs TEN

If you only lose the initial bet and not the doubled portion, you still double 11 vs 10. If only the initial bet loses to a blackjack, no basic strategy changes are necessary.

You still aren't understanding. Forget all about what the dealer checks or doesn't check. It's entirely irrelevant if the game is OBO. Play normal BS as if the dealer peeked at all upcards. And, unless it's H17 you DON'T double 11 vs. Ace but you DO double 11 vs. 10.

Oh.. sorry... I made an error in my original post:

    First of all it's H17

And the rule is like this: Dealer checks the ace but not TEN ... but if you double down on a TEN and the dealer has Blackjack, then you lose everything... not only the original bet.

I hope I understood everything now. and I hope I'm understood now ;-)

You're understood! So, as for BS, do not split 8,8 vs. T, but do continue to split Aces. Do not double 11 vs. T. Play normally vs. Ace. I don't know the precise extra cost for not making those two plays, but it can't be too much. The entire BS cost of ENHC is 0.11% for an H17, 6-deck game, and most of that comes from not putting out extra money vs. the Ace. So, my guess is that when just the Ten is involved, the cost shouldn't be more than, say, 0.04%.
