Nobody helped me when I struggle and I was able to get through the trouble. If we help the casinos when they struggle who is going to help us when we struggle? The casino is just going to turn around and act badly toward the people who is helping or has helped them. I learn that the hard way.

Perhaps there is a way to support the workers affected without paying the casinos? The supplemental unemployment assistance helped. But when Vegas suffered a 33% unemployment rate at one time this year during the shutdown, there were a lot of service workers in pain. 2020 can't be gone soon enough for me. But hopeuflly the recovery continues and the Covid continues to wind down as to it's serious effects.

The unemployment rate for Nevada is 14.9% with Hawaii being the highest. I think some people just need to control their spending. I can't believe how many stuff some people are buying. They're going to spend the supplemental unemployment assistance in Amazon or Walmart.

That's why most lottery winners are bankrupt within a few years.

Yeah, that's the current rate. It was higher this summer. Having friends in the industry and other acquaintances, it was hell for awhile in Vegas. It's definitely come back.........but not 100%..........and there is pent up demand or money/cash to spend by some for sure. Without travel and vacations, etc., those discretionary dollars are still there. But honestly, what in the world would you buy at Walmart other than basics.........LOL Amazon, a different story.

I don't use Amazon. I use to before but not anymore. I forgot when the last time I used Amazon.
