What are the most common blackjack side bets?

I am looking for the most common blackjack side bets for a real-time VBA spreadsheet I am creating. So far, I have 6 side bets on the spreadsheet:

    Insurance
    Lucky Ladies
    Pair Square (Bet the Set)
    Royal Match
    Royal 20's
Twenty One Plus Three (in all its versions)

What else would you add to this list?

    TIA

The odd place here has Perfect Pairs. I. told the dealer that my idea of Perfect Pairs was different than theirs. In fact one lady pointed to her own chest commenting on her Perfect Pair.

Sometimes, as does everybody, I get a blackjack in a shitty count. Occasionally, the crappy situation calls for the side bet, which I will then play. When I do so, rather than betting for the dealer, I will place 2 chips on the side bet. If 5he dealer is female, and even semi cute (with a definite good sense of humour), I’ll ask if they prefer the top or the bottom.

    also
Kings Bounty, basically the same as Lucky Ladies
Lucky Lucky, about 2.6% house edge. One place has changed suited 21 payout from 15-1 to 10-1. Quick back of the envelope Calc changes house edge to about 4.5%.

Thanks -- I was wondering about those two bets. I started to add them but then decided to ask before doing the work. I'll include those in the next version I release.

It’s helpful to know the house edge per side bet based on number of decks. It’s more helpful to know the house edge per card removed, however that would be impractical.

Now, if analysis can show the house edge per True Count (on a huge sim), that would be immensely helpful as well.

That's exactly what the code does. You can customize the deck by removing any cards you want and get the house edge. In particular, you can get EORs to generate counting systems.

It allows for real-time updating of the edge of each side bet as the shoe is played out. Hence, it is also potentially useful for online casino play.

Modified house edge per card removed is IMPRESSIVE. Now, if you happen to follow some my (what some perceive as bullshit) posts on FBM ASC Advanced, it then sounds like it would be a piece of cake to reverse the process and construct your own remaining 26 or 52 cards remaining. If so, using lucky ladies, which almost everyone understands, you can then construct very weak to intermediate to strong true 8 counts.

For example, using hi lo, you can construct any number of true 8 and over counts with 52 cards remaining. Your program, if understand correctly, will calculate different house edges based on the card composition of that particular true count.

My phrasing for this is QTC (Quality of True Count). Simply stated, 6 deck, true count of 8, 52 cards remaining, can have varying numbers of intermediate cards, which affects the number of hi and lo cards respectively. You can have a good true 8, or a shitty true 8. I won’t bother with additional theories, but it is interesting stuff.

Some true 8s migh5 be poor for lucky ladies as an example

I have been noticing a lot of tables at some Caesars Casinos with both the EZ-Bust, and Tri Lux side bets

    Eliot,

I assume that if the Tens are set to zero then the edges are correct for Spanish 21/Pontoon games?

I bet this twice for $100 max each in a ridiculous low count with about 1.25 of 8 decks left. The first one lost with a Q and a small card. Somehow though, I found two ace of clubs on the next hand for a sweet $3000. Ironically, I lost splitting the aces.
