Casino Vérité Downloads and Mac Compatibility

Hey Everyone, I wanted to buy some software from Casino Vérité and see that it is only PC compatible. Does anyone have any recommendations for a PC emulator I could buy (the cheaper the better)? Thanks!

I did some research on this a while back - it's probably going to be cheaper to buy a used PC than to buy a decent emulator. Use VNC to remote into your cheap PC from your Mac.

I have used VMWare Fusion for years on my iMac. It's not very expensive and it works pretty well, but certain programs that are graphically intensive may not be compatible. You will have to install and maintain windows on it like it's a separate computer. I have never tried to run CV on the the virtual machine. I just have a PC laptop that serves that function (among others). At this point, I would rather just maintain a separate laptop than try to manage the virtual machine, but it probably just depends on your own preferences.

I use Parallels as well. No issues. And it's been helpful with a few other things I needed as well. Money well spent.

I see that this thread is 4 years old, so I don't know if the above answers are still the most current. I have two questions: (1) Is Casino Veritas software still NOT Mac compatible? (2) If it is not, is using Parallels the best way to proceed to run CV on a Mac as suggested above 4 years ago?
