Openings to join a counting team, based in DC

If you are a perfect player and counter, or you are willing to train until perfect, I am looking for a few individuals to form a counting team.

We will be doing both individual and team play, utilising a pooled bankroll divided evenly, based entirely on hours contributed and your initial bankroll.

There will be team training sessions and frequent testing to prove perfect gameplay and counting. The advantages include a larger bankroll (lower risk of ruin), shared wins/losses, and shared expenses.

    Here are the minimum requirements:

    • AT LEAST $2,500. $4-5,000 is recommended. This must be money for the sole use of counting.
    • Based in the DC metro area
    • Able to contribute at least 40 hours a month. The number of days or hours/ week is up to you.
    • Willingness to train and test out, even if you feel you are already perfect. No members are exempt.

Full info available by email. You are not required to immediately give out any personal information.

    Email:
    [email protected]

    YOU MUST SEND:

    • Your general location
    • Experience level
    • Hours & bankroll you can contribute
    • A rough idea of when you would be available to meet (all final decisions initially will be made in person)
    • Any questions/ ideas/ comments you have

Selection will be made based on availability (the more the better), bankroll, and experience.

First post. Reminds me of the cops sending out invitations to individuals, with outstanding warrants, for gift giveaways from bogus vendor. Invitees arrive to claim prize and are promptly arrested.

Yup, you caught me. I'm a casino employee getting paid 50k a year, and I care about catching APs so much that I decided to post a fake listing asking for no personal information, just to potentially meet with counters.

Either that, or I only very recently joined the forum and haven't yet had the desire to post anything.

More credibility with at least 3 posts under your belt.

Point is - you’re an unknown. Can anyone vouch for you?

Nope. Been doing this solo, now interested in a team. To anyone reading, please do not apply if you're not comfortable with that.

No experience running a team, then? How have you prepared yourself to be a team leader? Seems like a significant jump to me. I would expect a few years of being a solo player followed by a few years of playing with One or More friends, followed by being a member of 1+ different teams, would be a minimum to qualify as a leader. It would certainly require accounting and payroll experience and significant management skills beyond being a solo player.

If you’re gonna hammer National Harbor, I endorse what you’re trying to do.

If you're interested in more information, please inquire via email–– a public forum is not the place to get into specific details. If you're not interested, I appreciate the feedback, but I would refrain from making judgements based on the very limited information I purposefully included in the announcement. Cheers!

Washington DC is for more serious business than card counting. AT LEAST $2,500. $4-5,000 is recommended??? Firstly, you shouldn't be living in DC if don't make close to at least six figures.

I do think including more qualifications than simply that you are a solo player is essential to recruiting team members. Something like “Experienced team leader recruiting new members...”, or “Successful Team has opening...” followed by applications can be forwarded to [email protected] would be more enticing.

unfortunately there is one exception re DC - a place to live - it's very expensive to rent or buy comfortable housing

the only way out of this I know of is to buy a foreclosed property or a fixer upper - other than that it's pretty hopeless - shopping around ain't gonna cut it - not by much
Or live in an area of Maryland that is within driving distance to Washington DC.

My only comment, having been a team manager multiple times (for you Z!), is that your post and its contents show how niave you are about managing a team. I also realize this is not the place for that discussion.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!
