Motley Fool Perspective on Vegas Covid Actions in Casinos

The other thread became too long and unwieldy. This is an interesting article from a Vegas native's perspective from a reputable investment site.

I discussed this with a former casino manager friend of mine. He thinks the article is not really accurate; that the increase in cases in Las Vegas is NOT from the casinos (who are practicing safe cleaning and social distancing methods for the majority) BUT RATHER from locals mainly, who frequented the bars and clubs when they were open. And that the closing of those establishments city wide was the right decision.

But this article, though negative, is food for thought and discussion. I would surmise that Don and Norm will agree with the author's analysis.

Nope! It might be a while longer before I see the inside of a casino again, after the bodies stop piling up in what is an out of control spread at this point. I've squirreled enough away over the years that I'm not forced into having to risk my life to hustle a buck and can take a break. I've been laying low in the official jungle lair, and will continue to do so for the time being.
