Reservation established by treaty and never revoked by Congress. Means the reservation is still there. Court says it's not going to save Congress the embarrassment of having to pass a law canceling the treaty or working out a compromise with the tribe to settle the issue. I think the ruling sounds correct and find it simultaneously quite funny, despite it's negative potential impact on APs.

I kind of agree with Indian Reservation on certain things. I don't believe in giving the "whites" too much power and I don't think in America there should be White Supremacy.

I just got arrested at an Indian casino last night. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? They can’t do anything to me. Card counting is legal.

what does count”arrested” mean? Did they lock you up? Charge you? Are you going to have to report to a court? What?

I was cuffed and charged with trespassing. They let me go for now but with a court date. I’m not going back. They have no jurisdiction to come off their sovereign land and get me.

I was under the impression that tribal courts only have jurisdiction over tribe members and any non-tribe members have to be turned over to "regular" law enforcement. Is that not correct?

It happens all the time at the horseshoe casino near me. They seem to run it the same as any regular casino and arrest anyone they want. If they did it illegally I might be off the hook.

Well, I hope the people they are arresting are mostly the "white" population. It is okay if they don't arrest me.
