You need another option -- my local stores have only opened restaurants and slots so far. I have no interest in heading in before tables open.

I don't know your local stores, but you are possibly missing out on a ton of money. Don't be a one trick pony

I put a few bucks in a VP with a reasonable payout table (and/or high progressive), but other than that I'm not a slots junkie. I'm an AP for making money, not for "action".

Many newer slots are quite beatable and quite lucrative. I'll leave it at that.

The big deal is reading that is like hearing fingernails on a blackboard. It's painful.

In the hopes of somewhat remaining on topic, I have been to both local places and Vegas since it reopened. It still is a little strange. Local places, while having reasonable precautions as rules, are varied in their actual enforcement. One re-closed and then re-disinfected/cleaned and then reopened after an employee tested positive. Others have strict protocols, with temperature checks at door, enforced limited capacities and plexiglass shields at tables.

Vegas, after the enforced order for masks, seems to be taking the situation seriously at most casinos, though I'm sure it's hard to force patrons to comply as to social distancing requirements. I hate to name names here, but Cosmo is NOT a place I would go at the moment, after witnessing a total lack of enforcement. Whereas Caesars properties seemed to be pretty intent on enforcing reasonable safe rules. It still is a little bit of a humorous site to see pit personnel washing chips in a bucket air drying them on a towel each shift. Oh well.............no one is 100% sure on what to do to protect staff and the public. I would NOT go downtown to West Side of Fremont area..........at least on the mall/street side. NO ONE practices social distancing and the lines to enter, through the main entrances, tend to force people together and into a small space. Just my "two cents" worth. Game minimums seem to be raised in some places. Not many "extra tables" being opened up to account for limited players but it wasn't that hard to get a table to play at, even if you had to wait once in awhile.

Use your own prudent action. I'm not sure I would go back to the Strip at the current moment, even if I have booked another trip for next month. Economically, staff/dealers seem glad to be back to work, but it's an express concern that there will be a second shutdown, at least at some places.

I have been to 7 Casinos after they reopened. Two of them already shut back down less than a month after reopening.

Did you wear a mask? Did you get a covid test lately? Florida is a hell hole for covid right now.
