Damn, Who is Bringing All This Covid to the U.P.

The tourists will leave after Labor Day, maybe I can venture out then.

Regardless, another U.P. casino is opening their blackjack games tomorrow.

Three per table makes it good for APs. It disrupts the casino's strategy of making the table full every time; making it hard for APs to make money counting. Now with three per table, APs could play more hands when the count turns positive.

That casino is tiny. You'll stick out like a sore thumb.

I was talking about in general. Every casino is making it three per table. Also, even if I stick out what will they do? They going to start back rooming people again? All they can do is take countermeasure. It would be a smart idea to avoid lawsuits.

It's also an Indian casino. They'll do what they please, including calling counting as cheating.

Really? Let me consult an attorney about this. I have no problem fight that in court. Plus, I am going to fight hard with the amount of money I have now. I am no longer a person who is scared and poor.

What court might that be? The one that the Native-American casino doesn't answer to? Don't be foolish. Pick battles that you can win. If you consider that they are "weak," you're making a bad tactical error. Tilt at other windmills. You're spitting into the wind.

Or maybe I could influence politics and ask Donald Trump to sign a bill or pass a law to regulate these casinos.

"Do laws that apply to non-Indians also apply to Indians?"

Yes. As U.S. citizens, American Indians and Alaska Natives are generally subject to federal, state, and local laws. On federal Indian reservations, however, only federal and tribal laws apply to members of the tribe, unless Congress provides otherwise. In federal law, the Assimilative Crimes Act makes any violation of state criminal law a federal offense on reservations. Most tribes now maintain tribal court systems and facilities to detain tribal members convicted of certain offenses within the boundaries of the reservation.

WHAT IS THE ASSIMILATIVE CRIMES ACT? ... § 1152, states that “the general laws of United States as to the punishment of offenses committed in any place within the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the United States, except the District of Columbia, shall extend to Indian country.”

The link to the following cnn graph/article is quite interesting. Many countries that allow foreign visitors will not allow US visitors. The Canadian US border remains closed to non commercial traffic.

Tell all of that to the AP's that got convicted at a tribal casino in western Michigan then. There's a GWAE about the incident. They were playing a legal AP game.
