Since it is the casino offering it I wouldn't trust that offer. It happens so often that guest who wear masks don't get their $20. It's not definite. I think it is a mind game the casino is trying to play. How does someone enforce such offer?

Indeed, and what happens if the casino gives them $20, they bet it and lose, and then take the mask off?
    Here's how I would go: Blackjacks pay 6:5 for non-mask-wearers. :-D

    From the article:
"Someone from the company may tap you on the shoulder and slip you $20 to gamble.
The operator of five reopened hotel-casinos on The Strip has launched the promotion to encourage guests to wear masks and prevent the spread of COVID-19."

Why is the promotion necessary? What's wrong with "No mask, you're outta here."? It's no different than "no shoes, no shirt, no service."

Come on 21, you know the answer (Hint: profits over lives). Actually it's all the governors' faults. A governor can stop the spread of cov19 in casinos if he imposes a $10,000fine per facemaskless gambler in a casino.

Here are what piss me off:
    1) A governor said: "all knuckleheads must wear a mask in a casino... except...when they are eating, drinking, or SMOKING!"

    2) A governor said: " ...no smoking... on beaches...[but it's ok to smoke in a casino to lose your money]"

A few thought AP life would never end, a Few more believed technology and rule changes might lead to the end of card counting but nobody even considered that a virus would bring it to an end.

I suspect quite a few older folks will Quiit slot machines and casinos And opt to give it up.

I suspect differently. I suspect that when the hospitalizations and death rates skyrocket in Nevada, the authorities will be forced to take appropriate measures and require face masks in order to be in the casinos. Of course, the smoking aspect is so absurd that I can't really comment. There should be a special sealed-off room for smokers, with a sign at the entrance: "Come in here to eventually die either sooner from COVID-19 or later from lung cancer."
