Don't let the rants fool you--smallcap is definitely legit. I've seen his OSN, the guy gets around lol.

The sweatier places will absolutely back you off games on which you don't have an edge. In Vegas I was playing BJ on a strip property notorious for being sweaty. I was flirting with a Chinese degen gambler at the table probably playing with daddy's money. They backed me off and she suggested we play Baccarat instead. I wanted to try to get with her, so I agreed. We played about three hands before the shift manager came by and backed me off all table games. The sweaty places just don't want to gamble with you--if they think you have an edge on one game, they think you've got some angle on all the rest.

So if a business is doing very very well and backing off a few gamblers makes little to no difference, why would they not?

Because it's a stupid thing to do.

Businesses should maximize profits. Why should they refuse business that would provide them additional income?

Have you ever gone into a store or a car dealer and they've said to you, "We've have enough customers today. Please leave."?

Well, I do know that a car salesperson/dealership gives preference to the customers they think are either interested in the more luxurious cars or one they think they can get most profit from over the guy interested in a $500 2000 car with 200k miles on it.

And as one friend who owns a convenience store says, he has an eye for those likely to shoplift and signals an employee to follow a customer to the point he would leave.

Sometimes, a business owner takes that risk. Lose a little, keep his employees happy by getting rid of the annoying.

Tell me about it. In this case, they not only lost me, someone who didn't have an edge on the game I was now playing, but they lost the girl I played with that day, someone who didn't have an edge on any game and who was betting black-purple. It's not so simple as to say "lol, we have plenty of customers, who cares if we lose this guy who might have an angle anyway." APs can have donk friends as well.

I don’t see the prob with grinding hard for a couple years. If you were a real AP or even just a card counter. Yolo hello!

For me it was easy. I could go back to college, just work blue collar at a family business, or try to replicate someone’s earning within 4 hours @ the bj table.....which was what I made in a year. Lol. The choice was not hard here.

That’s when I learned to card count. Thanks to everyone here, in-part. Who, also helped feed me nuggets of info on what to be careful of and what to look for. So thank you everyone here who has helped me use my brain lol.

Now, the bad experiences that I have no idea about should be shared for us noobs. Any upcoming pros thinking of FT like me would love to learn from any bad experiences @ the casino. I myself, plan on avoiding any bad situation possible. That’s why I keep falling in love with tweaking my slash n burn methods. Lol. We’ll see if the plan above works out.

Even as a PT super small
Stakes rec AP. The extra dough is always nice. I have to say. No regrets here. Yet.

Goat, I have listened to your GWAE episodes to help me study. It seems like you are now due for another? I’m quite interested in your story. The good and especially the bad. Thanks again for the tips.

    Brick

    Ps:Idk if this is a thing...#ProudToBeAnAP

Goatlife aka smallcap is overdue for positive variance wave, in blackjack and in life. There will be a GWAE episode #4 for my master, mark my words.

Hey buddy, My life is much improved from being a full time AP. Ive made multiple seven figures with my worst year being 160k but only working a 1/3 of the year and 2018 when i ran 600k below EV for a 120k loss. my best year was 575k followed by 460k the next. but i only work half the year as i travel the rest.
My index funds investments make money for me while i sleep, and i travel all around the world six months of the year, sleeping with beautiful women wherever i go. Its a dream life for me. Granted working is a grind: sixty days in a row, in twenty or thirty different hotel rooms, the boredom of ten to twelve hour days at the table, the stress of carrying six figures with forfeiture etc, but really all things considered, it is a dream life. No alarm clock, no bosses, no one to answer to; for me its a dream job. Ive been to forty plus countries now, safaris in Africa, sensual (sex) massages in Macau, gorilla trekking in Rwanda, camel riding in Sahara desert, five star villa in Maldives, five star hookers in thailand in one star short time hotels, five different south american countries, getting lost in Hawaii surfing the North Shore, partying like a rock star on every continent ( not Antarctica, yet,) and most importantly meeting my fiancee in Philippines, and i hope i dont have to grind it out alone anymore.
Its been a wild ride (with ninety percent of the actual days working being utterly boring,) and im looking forward to ten more years.
Good luck on ur straight job, and making the human connections that really are more important. (though Ukrainian escorts have to take a close second.)

So that’s what you consider a good life. Maybe you are still young. For some of us, a good life consists of making love, not f$&#ing whores, spending time around loving family, making enough to pay the bills, enjoying an occasional night at the movies or casino, living stress free, being respected and having people you respect around you, etc...

    You're trolling Zee, admit it.

To everyone else, i met ZeeBabar once in a casino gift shop. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Funny story, Jack. Nice to see you here. Don't know if you recall, but we met at a GC party about 10 years ago.

I met Zee, too. He sat down at my table, I recognized him from his OSN picture, but didn't say anything. Though I don't have a good story to go along with it. I mentioned it in a post once before.
