    Dealer cuts...

    Can anyone explain the purpose of dealers cutting shoes when everyone touches the same chips??..

    If the hand that touches the chips does not touch the cards....no, I don’t get it either..

    Was in home casino a few days ago. Dealers were told to cut in the middle and that’s what they were all doing. Players were NOT ALLOWED to tell the dealer where to cut it. Laughable. At one point, had a cool dealer who let us tell him where to cut it. I said “right in the middle.”
