Hi Norm/CVDATA users,

BJ rules : 8 deck, S17, ES10, RS2, RSA2, ENHC, DAS. See the attached simulation results about the dealer's final total.

With ENHC rules, for example, when the dealer's upcard is 2, under what situations her final total can be 5(see the red box)?

Please note that when the dealer's upcard is 2, dealer will not dealt second card(ENHC game) if player burst(exceed 21), BJ or surrender . . .am I correct ?

I think that it's clear that a second dealer card is being dealt, even when all player hands have already been resolved. That's why totals from 4 to 13 are possible, but 14 to 16 are not.

Game setting is ONLY 1 player and it is ENHC game . . . .why delaer draw second card and STOP at 4 to 13 ? dealer should NOT draw second card(in ENHC game) when player burst/BJ/surrender, if player STAND/DOUBLE/SPLIT, dealer will draw until 17 or more, so it is impossible for dealer to have 4 to 13 as final total . . .Am I missing something ?

Ahh, relates to a ENH change made a while back. Occurs when player gets BJ. Shouldn't affect overall results. I'll make an update.

This is 8 deck shoe game. Regarding the dealer just disregards the downcard or doesn't get the 2nd card at all should be trivial to the final result.

Norm, occurs when player gets BJ ONLY? How about when player burst(exceeded 21) or surrender?

BJgenius007, when dealer draw less card, it will be more hands and more counting opportunities in a shoe for same penetration, and it will affect the total win amount per shoe.

I've tested that. Insignificant. Otherwise, the number of players would have a larger effect.
