    S17 or H17

I am a little confused on what S17 or H17 implies. If a game is called S17, does it mean dealer hits on soft 17 or they stay?

To elaborate, the S stands for "stand" (not "Soft" which would be a reasonable conclusion for a newbie) and the H stands for "hit".

Also, if a game is S17, it is much better than H17.

Um, Perhaps you dont quite belong on this forum.... this forum is for advanced players like card counters & advantage players... if you don't even know the diff between S17 & H17 than you probably dont need to be posting here. I say this not to offend, but to help...

At this point, I'd rather hear a newbie question than the 20th thread about coronavirus news.

Try not to speak for all of us. It’s really silly to say you can post about virus, about stocks but not about Blackjack on a BJ forum.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
