Fair enough, this procedure must be permitted in other states.

I’m surprised that you were allowed to take photos of the table layout?

He's definitely happier, healthier, and more plump than when he was with Mariah.

BJnewie, you're not allowed to take photos. I'm generally pretty stealthy.

Many dealer's flip the hole card to the (dealer's) left before continuing to deal left to right. This leaves the up card as the second from the left.

In Australia, the dealer does not take a hole card.

This next photo shows some of my play at Golden Nugget's DD pitch game back in early 2018. It was a $25 game with around 65% pen, and DAS. I visited this exact same table again late last year, only to find it was now nDAS. I stopped playing soon after. Pen also seemed to worsen, the dealer was approaching an almost half cut.

Nice picture Koz84, nice stack. But don't give up on those rules/pen it's becoming about normal in the US.
And DD nDAS at 65% pen isn't unplayable in my opinion if you have a bankroll. And hey, in that picture of the dealer's hands...you could maybe switch over to hole carding lol.

The original game I played (when this photo was taken) was actually DAS with 65%. That was more than acceptable to me. However, when I went late last year, it was nDAS and approaching 50% pen. They were both $25. CBJN lists the Nugget's $25 DD has having DAS, which is why I was surprised I was told I couldn't double one of my hands after splitting. Given the dealer's ever lousier pen, I walked away soon after.

Yeah no worries, CBJN is not very accurate. Most reporters keep the good games for themselves.
And yes 50% pen starts to be too much.
On your next trip get off the strip or downtown...you can still find some decent games. Well before the virus anyway...so we will see.

I did try Station Casinos last time, however, was told "No more BJ" after about 3 days of play. I'll probably still go back, it'll be 1+ years until I return and they never ID'd me.

Koz84, may I ask which game and what you were spreading to get the backoff at Stations?

I report deeper pen to attract APs to the places I've been backed off.
    ((just kidding, Al)
