What are your Casino after Covid-19 Predictions? :)

I predict that there will be BIG Crowds the very first few days of reopening. I predict that there will be LOTS of Free Play, Comps, Promos, buffets, hotel room promos, Comps, food comps, etc, to make up for the "Drought," upon reopening.

I predict that there may LOTS of people who will say stuff like,"The Casino "Drought," showed me how frivolous I was being with my Finances in the Casino and I actually put that money during the "Drought," in Savings and or did a lot of good things with my money after not being able to blow it in Casinos, so I am still going on a self inflicted Drought from the Casino for now. "

I predict that LOTS of people will still be wary of going into the Casino due to the Covid-19 showing them just how filthy machines, chips, table games, etc really can be. As to the last prediction, I predict that Casinos will put up hand sanitizers/hand wipes at the end of every row or something like that where Gamblers can wipe hands and equipment(This is actually a REALLY brilliant idea that should have been done long before the Covid-19 thing). I predict that Casinos will loosen up Slots to ensure that Gamblers keep playing.

What are your after Casino Covid-19 Predictions?

    Those things all sound reasonable.

As for my precautions, for pretty much as long as have been going I've had a pocket bottle of hand sanitizer as one of my supplies in my fanny pack that I take to work. Will probably just be more conscious of using it more frequently.

Thank you for saying I sound reasonable A Gambler said something like."The Casino Drought made me realize how useless spending most of my days in a Casino playing games really is. I was forced to stay home during the Casino Drought and I was able to focus more on myself, Family, Friends, and life itself and it made me realize there is more to life than spending most of my days in Casinos. "

That's a new prediction of mine. Many people will realize that they feel like spending so much time in a Casino playing games is kind of useless and want to do other things with their time. Kind of piggybacking off of the "I saved a LOT of money by NOT being able to blow it away in Casinos," prediction.

It''s possible you may see crowds the first couple days or so, just due to a bored public. But the rest of 2020 will be brutal for casinos and the entire entertainment industry. Macau revenues down significantly after they reopened. And they were only closed 15 days.

From Sun Trust analyst Barry Jones: "General consumer fear impacted (casino) visits after casinos were re-opened."
Deutsche Bank: "Macau market will not recover until 2021 and the declines are bigger than initially forecast".

If its a hard recession or depression, casinos are going to get their ass kicked.

Even when the casinos are allowed to open, the virus will NOT be gone entirely. If you learn about the 1918 Spanish flu, it came back later in the year and didn't fully disappear for many years after. So, that fear instilled in all of us will make the recreational gambler think twice about going to a typical dirty casino and sitting shoulder to shoulder at gaming tables.

No vaccine. No cure. No casino.

I speak for 60% of the population. The other 40% are degenerates that would rather die than not gamble.
